The Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker Le Griffon was docked in Prescott, Ontario. Installed on the ship’s wheelhouse was a horizontal rigid rail system designed to provide continuous fall protection for crew members working at height.
The system surrounded the entire wheelhouse, including 90-degree corners, ensuring uninterrupted safety coverage. To navigate these sharp turns, special custom-designed trolleys were used, allowing smooth and secure movement along the perimeter.
This custom installation offered a reliable combination of safety, durability, and adaptability—perfectly suited for the challenges of a marine environment.
